We’re adding a Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our growing Vancouver team. In this role, you’ll help deliver complex, multidisciplinary mining and heavy industrial projects from concept to completion, working alongside a team of experts to meet client objectives and solve real-world challenges.

What you can expect to do here:
- Drive resourcing and budget management to keep projects on track and profitable.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables with discipline leads to ensure seamless integration across all project phases.
- Oversee man-loading planning to optimize team performance and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and cost control reports to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Manage project changes proactively to minimize risk and maintain scope integrity.
- Implement and uphold HSE and quality procedures for every project to ensure safety and compliance.
- Represent WSP with confidence in meetings and presentations, providing clear reporting and addressing client concerns effectively.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all matters related to project scope and execution.
- Capture and report lessons learned from previous and current projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead or support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and project scoping with discipline leads.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- Must have at least 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on Mining and/or Heavy Industrial clients and projects
- Must have at 3 years of Project Management experience managing multidisciplinary projects
- EIT, CET or P.Eng. designation
- A self-motivated individual looking for advancement opportunities
- Ability to easily interact with clients in a multi-disciplined environment
- Must have a valid driving license
Compensation:
Salary range (in British Columbia): $84963.20 - $111,996.37
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
